Final Reflection 2015

Term 3 Reflection

This term we have done cross country. I came 6th next year I want to come in top 3. We also have had our production. I was in the european culture group. We performed a play about a  greek story. My group also performed a mask and dress up parade. I wore a red and white skirt. For maths I  have been working in Miss Wylies math class. In week 4 we also had room 13’s assembly. For writing we have been learning how to write reports.

Metaphor poem

Do pencils ever grow tired,

Of drawing and writing?

Do they shriek with pain,

When  they get sharpened?

Do they feel exhausted,

After a full day of writing?

Do they ever wish that they could have a break,

Of standing on their tiptoes?

Camp

Mila and I went on the float at the Te kauwata Christmas parade.

My older cousins Hayley and Brenna went in this car. Matu Was a wise man.

New Years Hungi

My Dads side of the family is moari.
They have a tradition to have a hungi on new years.

Today I did a science experiment from this book that my mum bought me.

It is called breaking the rules.

We needed some objects and a glass bowl full of water.

 Then we put the objects halfway in the water.

Everyone should have healthy lunch boxes even toys😃!

I made healthy lunch boxes for some of my toys.

Athletics

Tomorrow is Athletics I fell  excited because I know it will be fun.

My favourite is 200m.

Time

This is my clock the hour hand is the small one and the big one is the minute hand.
There is 12 '0' clock 1/4 past 1/2 past and 1/4 to.

Athletics Practice

My favourite activity so far was high jump and 200m.
I have learned take off on one foot and land on two for long jump.
I knew how to scissor  jump.

It was a dark, gloomy night in glamour.

Poor old rusty the cat was wide awake in her dark green basket on a huge ship her teeth were numb and her stomach was full of kittens she knew something bad would happen.

She could hear the wind swirling and the waves crashing against her ship.

Suddenly there was a tiny meow! Rusty looked down my first kitten i will call her pepper went to explore  justed then then the boat broke the half pepper was on was sinking help shed meowed “go swimming” Pepper said she couldn’t swim but rusty coun’nt hear her

The next day the sun woke up pepper had washed up on an island she was weak a her leg was broken but someone else had been washed up too.

“Pepper “ shouted rusty it was Rusty She lifted pepper to the vet To get her leg fixed.

Coraline

Last term my reading group reed a book call Coraline.
I liked it because it was interesting.
My favourite part was when she found a little door.

Treasure Hunt at The Hamilton Gardens!

Today, Manaia, Adelei and I had a treasure hunt at the Hamilton Gardens.

We had to answer lots of questions and find different things we had to find words in a word find too. We got some chips and a coffee for my dad we saw Mrs Natusch there.

When we got home we ate our chips and got our prize a smiggle rubber.

Adelei got a blue turtle I got a purple turtle Manaia got a pink tennis racket and Mila got a green ice block.

It was a lot of fun ( - ; !!!!!!!!!!!
