Expirement

Today our class did a Expirement so I did it at home but I tried soy milk to see if it will work.

Firefly Galore

Suddenly I took a step and was in the middle of nowhere! The sun slowly separated and drifted through the sky. A big, bright castle stood in front of me like a tall tree staring back at me looking grand and lonely. Was I in Japan, Australia or America? I stepped into castle. It squeaked as if it was new. I looked out the shiny, glooming window and slowly the sky got darker! I saw a bunch of fireflies making bright golden lights lighting up the night sky. The Beautiful fireflies were holding up a sparkly banner. The banner said “You can have this castle!”

The Bed And Breakfast Star

Me and Leah are reading a book Bed And Breakfast Star.

Else is having a hard life in this book because she has been in 7 beds since she was a baby. She was named after a lion so when she was a baby her mum stuck her hair up into a lions mane she sounded like one too. Else tells jokes to do her best to cheer up her family but no one seems to laugh much any more because they lost their lovely house and had to live in a breakfast and bed hotel.

I think the story will be way different in the snow and the book would not be called Bed and Breakfast Star because there is no bed and breakfast hotel in the snow.

Birthday

Today is my sisters birthday we were going to raglan but it is to wet so we went to have McDonalds for lunch.

Today we had a picnic at the park we played sack races, octopus, tag, soccer and a game where you have to  a balloon tied to your ankle with a lolly in it the point of the game is to pop everyone's  but not yours so you win even more lollies.

Yay it is the holiday!

What are you doing for the holiday?

Well I am going to whakatane and the snow and I am probably going to be in hamilton the seconded week it is also my sisters birthday on the seconded Friday and she is going to have a tea party on the the seconded Saturday.

Maths

Today for Maths we solved some problems.

Trapped in a dogs kennel

One dark stormy night I was trapped in a dogs kennel with 7 loud dogs. But it was cosy among all the cushins. It was very warm too but I didn’t want to go to sleep. I wasn’t sleepy I was playful. I just wanted to play with the dogs but what if mum heard me from the house? I stared at the bones and dog food. The 7 dogs started barking as loud as a siren. I just played with the dogs. But when a dog called Sparks caught a frisbee I saw a bright light in Spark's mouth. Spark closed his jaws mysteriosly and out came a magic frisbee and a secret key.He started talking like a real person.

Dance groups

I am in the cheer leading team.We went to a competition and my team came second out of all the cheer leading. My favourite part is wearing our costume and doing the dance.

The Enormous Foot Print

One day I was running down the beach with my little sister. Suddenly me and my little sister came to a fast stop and looked down at our feet and there was ... an enormous gigantic foot print. My sister shyly followed the enormous foot prints with me. It took us to this huge world. We were like tiny ants compared to the huge world. My sister was even smaller. Suddenly the world shook and me  and my sister heard a whole lot of thumps. In front of us there was a gigantic giant as tall as the eiffle tower. Me and my sister ran as fast as we could home terrified to tell our mum there is a huge gaint in this world.My mum was terrified.

One day when I was in bed sleeping I heard my Dad snoaring. Suddenley my Dad stoped snoaring and I heard a bang clang and crack. I ran outside and saw... the sun broken and seperated across the sky. I walked inside and my Dad was snoaring again. I walked outside and the sun was back to normal again. So I got back into bed.  When Dad stopped snoring I knew the sun became a disaster again!

On a very hot day I was seriously sweaty. It was like there was a volcano about to explode! I was in my car. I looked out of the window and I saw something green and bright. I got out of the car and saw a shadow. Something on the rubbish bins moved. It was like they were talking. I listened carefully and I heard them introduce  themselves. "Hi I am Happy", "I am naughty", "I am pretty", "I am lovely", "I am camera" then I said, "can you take a photo of me?" Then another rubbish bin replied, "I am crazy". They started chasing me.  To be continued...

Cup Cakes

Today I decided to make some cup cakes so I did and I made them with no help.

I put some icing on it and this pink stuff called pinkoulicous.

My waste to wow

 This is our waste to wow costumes first we planed it and then started making the Juniors there flowers.Then we started to collect materials for main costume. We made our costume with what everything said on the plan.I can not wait to the shows today.

Volcano

If I lived in a volcano I would swim in lava, slide down the volcano and sometimes when the volcano errupts it would be a lava slide. My friend will be a fire princess. I would wear a bright red dress and red tights on my dress there would be a little orange flame. There would be really awesome places inside the volcano like a flame pet shop where all the pets inside are made with fire. Nextdoor, there would  be a horse riding place. The red horses would have rockets at the back of them that make them go faster. Also, it would  leave  a trail on the ground of lava. There would  be  more places as well but those would be my favourite. A volcano would be a hot scary place to live in.

The fear monster

One cold, dark, spooky night when I was in the Elephant cage I heard a crash and  saw a big shadow appear suddenly in front of me. I didn't know what the shadow was. Was it a monster? Was it a animal? Was it an alien? What was the noise? Was it a crash into the tree?  I just knew this would be a spooky freaky job.

I grabbed my torch out of my pocket. I shone it near the shadow and there was a monster

"Aaah" I shouted I set a trap but I wonder what it eats? So I chucked a bit of chilly in the trap. Two minutes later... slam went the door! "Hurrah" I cheered.
 I researched it up but it looked like no one had found it before so I created a new website on the Internet and called it the fear monster.

Matarki Stars (our own 100wc)

Every year when the Matarki stars shine...

People celebrate the Maori New Year. Once the world was dark because these parents together Ranginai/sky and Papatunuku/earth so  the seven brothers pushed and pushed to separate them. Ranginui gets so angry and rips out his eyes and those are the seven stars. Another legend says the stars stand for the seven sisters up in the sky with their dad. That is why people celebrate. People might celebrate with fireworks or a dance party or any other party but of course not a birthday party. The stars will shine when it’s the Maori new year.

On Saturday I went to motat in auckland it was so much fun.

Cats

The article I read was the cat video festival returns to America on kiwi kid’s news.

My summery is that the festival was about cats. Over 10,000 visitors came and the festival this year will be travelling to New York. The cats are acting so funny.
